Footprint Center
Formerly known as the Talking Stick Resort Arena, the Footprint Center is a multipurpose arena that serves as the home for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes. The facility is located in Downtown Phoenix at 201 E Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85004 and opened its doors to the public in September of 2016. How to Get to the Footprint Center Arena
Talking Stick Resort Arena is located in downtown Phoenix, just north of central Phoenix. The arena is just off of the Loop 101 freeway and is also accessible by light rail and bus. If you’re driving, the best routes are to take Loop 101 east or west, and then head north onto E. Indian School Road. If you’re taking public transportation to the arena, there are a few different ways to get there. The closest light rail station is just a few blocks away at Indian School and Central Avenue. You can also take the Valley Metro Bus, which stops at the corner of Indian School and E. Jefferson streets. If you’re looking for a ride-sharing service, there is drop-off and pick-up at the arena.
Things to Know Before You Go to a Game
- You can order food and drinks right to your seat using the arena’s app.
- You can watch basketball and hockey while you are in the arena, but please keep in mind that you are not allowed to leave your seats until the end of the game.
- You can’t bring in outside food and beverage, but there are plenty of places to shop before and after the game.
- Talking Stick Resort Arena has a zero-tolerance policy for any unruly or inappropriate behavior. Fans can expect to be ejected from the arena and/or have their season ticket revoked if they break the rules.
Basketball
If you’re interested in catching a Suns game, the season runs from October to April. Most games take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays, with a few select games scheduled on Thursday and Sundays. The Suns are one of the most successful teams in the NBA, having won the WNBA Championship in both 1976 and 1993.
