Inside the Museum
#1 – Exhibits
The Arizona Science Center boasts over 500 hands-on exhibits exploring topics from biology and chemistry to physics, geology, and technology. Kids and adults will love the indoor planetarium with daily shows exploring the wonders of the universe. You can visit the 3-D printer and create your own object or take a seat in the theatre and watch the experts create amazing things.
#2 – Live Animal Experiences: The Arizona Science Center is the only place in the state where you can experience reptiles and amphibians in their native habitats. The Science Center also hosts live animal presentations and behind-the-scenes tours of the Center’s veterinary hospital.
#3 – Stuffed Animal Care Workshop
Kids love their stuffed animals and want to make sure they are taken care of, but many parents don’t know how to do that properly. This workshop gives kids the tools they need to properly care for their favorite toy, and it teaches parents how to do it for the rest of their stuffed animals.
#4 – Chem Lab – Where Rubber Meets the Road!
This interactive exhibit lets kids explore the science behind their favorite tires. Kids can mix their own oils, coat a sample with rubber, and learn about the chemistry involved in making their tires.
#5 – Body Wars: A Science Fiction Adventure
What if your body could fight off an invasion of disease? This exhibit invites visitors to explore the human body like never before through an amazing journey through the bloodstream where kids will meet a microscopic army of white blood cells and other essential parts of the immune system waiting to spring into action to protect them.
#6 – Robotics Lab
Kids can get excited about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through robotics. The Robotics Lab is designed to introduce students to real-world engineering challenges to solve.
